” Barfi”, is India’s official entry in ‘foreign film category’ at the Oscars. The movie, released on September 14, was made at a budget of Rs 30 crore.
The Movie made with a Small budget was appreciated worldwide . Ranbir Kapoor’s Back to back hits followed by Rockstar has made him enter the 100 crore list.

It minted Rs 34.6 crore during the weekend, and amassed a total of Rs 58.6 crore over the week – September 14 (Rs 9.2 crore), September 15 (Rs 11.5 crore), September 16 (Rs 13.9 crore), September 17 (Rs 6.5 crore), September 18 (Rs 6 crore), September 19 (Rs 7.25 crore) and September 20 (Rs 4.25 crore).

The film, about love between differently-abled — a deaf and mute boy and an autistic girl — opened in approximately 700 screens in India, September 14.

Love-struck Lukas Podolski wants an Arsenal tattoo after just five dates

Lukas Podolski has only just ended his on-off 17-year relationship with FC Cologne and he’s already plotting a tattoo in honour of his new flame.

But the Germany international isn’t going to rush any decision to mark his affection for new club Arsenal in ink.

Asked whether a Gunners’ tattoo to match his Cologne one was in the offing, he told the Mirror: “Maybe on this one – my left arm – in a few years!

“Cologne meant so much to me because I was there a long time. Maybe I will do the same with Arsenal because I like this club.

“It is a big club and maybe we can do a tattoo. We can speak about this in the next three or four years.”

Losing to the top sides is expected, but if Southampton lose at home on Saturday, alarm bells will certainly begin to ring.

Pearson has been allowed to formulate the most expensive squad in the division. In the last thirteen months Leicester have signed seventeen players for fees around £17million. Pearson may have only been recruited in November 2011, but after leaving the club in the lurch, the manager owes the club success.

Leicester find themselves as slow starters in the league, despite a midweek win, and face Pearson’s former club Hull this weekend. The East Midlands outfit need improvements, or Pearson may be an early managerial casualty

Hackers Attack Bank of America Over Anti-Islam Film

A United States bank had its website targeted by hackers Tuesday in revenge for the obscure amateur video that mocked Islam's Prophet Mohammed. Visitors to the U.S.-based Bank of America website were temporarily unable to perform transactions as a result of the attack.

The hackers, who called themselves “Cyber fighters of Izz ad-din Al qassam” appeared not to be U.S.-born, or at least, seemed to post in English as a second – or third – language. They added in the jihadist statement posted on the Pastebin.com website that the attack was the “first step” in a larger plan to target property owned by “American Zionist capitalists.”

The cyber terror group also threatened to continue attacks until the “erasing of that nasty movie” – presumably the obscure amateur video clip mocking the life of Islam's Prophet Mohammed – that ignited worldwide violence. Rioters in Muslim-populated countries attacked U.S. embassies and consulates, as well as diplomatic missions from the UK and Germany. The film was used as the excuse to savagely carry out the murders of an American ambassador to Libya, three other American diplomats and two U.S. Marines, as well as 28 others.

The group blamed production of the film, "Innocence of Muslims," on the "United States of America with the held of Zionist Regime."

When boyhood Arsenal fan Carl joined the Club last summer, he fulfilled a lifelong dream - but he faced an immediate test of character.

An injury to Bacary Sagna saw him handed his chance in the high-pressure Champions League play-off matches against Udinese, and he delivered two composed displays. But the next game, at Manchester United, saw the young full back sent off in a heavy defeat.

It was sink-or-swim time but the Finland Under-21 international is made of stern stuff and he responded superbly, brushing off that disappointment to develop into a high-energy, marauding right back over the following months. A back injury stalled his progress and he was sidelined for more than three months, but he returned in time to play his part in the north London derby victory over Tottenham in February.

Further appearances against Wolves and West Bromwich Albion capped off an encouraging campaign and he will be hoping to go to the next level this season.

Arteta - Full backs have been so consistent

Mikel Arteta has paid tribute to two of the unsung heroes of Arsenal's unbeaten start to the campaign - the full backs.

Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson have been ever-presents this season, helping Arsène Wenger's team keep Sunderland, Stoke and Liverpool at bay before Arsenal's defence was finally breached in the 6-1 win over Southampton last weekend.

Gibbs claimed two assists in that match while Jenkinson set up the winner for Gervinho at Montpellier in midweek as the Gunners got off to a winning start in the Champions League.

Arteta has been hugely impressed by both defenders. "I think they’ve been very consistent," he told Arsenal Player.

"I think Gibbsy has been playing really well. I think he’s finding himself more comfortable going forwards. He’s rapid and can make a big difference. It’s tough for a wide man to defend [against] a full back like him. 

"Carl is finding himself more comfortable. He’s had four or five games under his belt, he’s done a whole pre-season with us and you can see he’s confident. Against Montpellier he put a brilliant cross in for Gervinho to score the goal.

"That’s what we need because we’re missing players. When you’re replacing someone like Bac [Sagna] it’s not easy because you’re under a lot of pressure. I think they’ve been really good.

"The challenge is to maintain the level and to keep up to the high level. I think that’s very difficult, but Carl’s done that in the last few games and hopefully he can maintain that."

Arteta will soon have more competition for his own place when Jack Wilshere returns from his long-term injury lay-off. The Spaniard expects Arsenal's level to rise again when the England international returns.

"I think it’s going to be a big boost for everyone," said Arteta. "He’s going to raise the quality in training. The fans – they’ve been waiting a long time.

"I know what it means when you’ve been out for a long time. You can see how excited Jack is to get back in training and show how good a player he is. He’s going to bring something different to the squad - more quality to the team - and that can only be better for everyone."

“Raaz 3” took fair advantage

“Raaz 3” took fair advantage of holiday on 2nd Wednesday and film improved especially in noon shows. Film collected 1.30 cr on Tuesday and with a jump on Wednesday film should at least collect 1.75 cr nett though final figure will be decided by evening and late night shows.

Film will finish with 14.5 cr nett collections in 2nd week and that’s only 3-4 cr short of what would had been an ideal scenario. Next week release of “Heroine” will leave film with almost negligible shows.

Nevertheless film should finish with 75 cr nett lifetime collections which is a good haul for the film.

Garth Crooks demonstrates his tactical knowledge

The BBC do pretty well to employ pundits that annoy us. Mark Lawrenson’s predictions are dreadful, Alan Hansen is cripplingly negative and Alan Shearer is as boring as watching dry paint dry. Thankfully, they’ve managed to make it that little bit worse by allowing Garth Crooks to choose his team of the week in the Premier League.

This week Garth really shows off his knowledge of football tactics with his team of the week. He selects four defenders, which I think we can all agree is fairly textbook, and adds to this with Javi Garcia, who is a good defensive midfielder. But Crooks then leaves reality by choosing five strikers.

Gervinho, Podolski, Defoe, Berbatov and Ba are the lucky men, and Crooks somehow shoehorns them into a 4-4-2 formation by playing Gervinho and Podolski in midfield, with Defoe an attacking midfielder in the hole.

I’d bloody love to see him manage.

Akshay Kumar is having a hard Time facing the Heat of Producers and Distrubutors after Joker Failed badly at the Box office . One of the Reasons of the Failure was Akki’s Complete absence in Promoting Movie.

Film cost around Rs 55cr, satellite rights were sold for about Rs 14 cr and the estimated losses amount to Rs 20cr. Trade analyst Suniel Wadhwa said, “The film was discontinued after the first week due to non-performance. Most distributors have lost nearly 60 per cent of their money.”

Distributor Sunny Khanna, told us, “The brand lost only because of Akshay’s unprofessional behaviour and I definitely want compensation from him. Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is in trouble regarding the copyright issue.

Buzz is that man called Anand Panda has reportedly filed a Copyright case on makers of Ekthatiger movie.He claims that he script of Salman Khan-starrer Ek Tha Tiger was written by him.

Earlier,Anand Panda had moved the high court stating that the police was refusing to register FIR based on his complaint against the makers of the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger who allegedly infringed on his copyright.After few days,The Bombay High Court has directed Mumbai police to add the name of Yash Raj Films to a case filed in a copyright Issue.

Now police registered an FIR on September 9. However, Yash Raj Films, the producers of the movie, were not named in the FIR.Now Court has demanded to Panda’s lawayer to directed the production house to be named as an accused in the report and Directing the police to investigate the case fairly.

Salman Khan is coming to your television sets very soon Hosting the Season 6 of Reality Show Bigg Boss.

The actor is making sure that this time the controversial show is fit for family viewing and along with the channel has got the go-ahead for a prime time slot at 9 pm. Last year, the show because of its adult content had to be shifted to 11 pm as per the diktat of Information & Broadcasting Ministry. “Last time, I myself was not happy with some of the goings-on and had to pull up the inmates of the house. If the fight is justified I am all for it, but if people come into the house with the weird notion that screaming and yelling will give them more TV time, they are wrong,” says Salman.

Point out to him that the toned down version will take away from the basic format of the show and he says, “We are not toning down anything or telling anybody to behave, but the people we are choosing will be of a certain level. Yes, there will be fights but the fun elements will be more.” He adds that the best reactions he received last year were for the recap moments. “Those were beautiful moments filled with that little big of anguish, tears and anger in it. It had a combination of everything,” added Sallu.
